Dr. Leonhard Oberascher  

Born in Salzburg in 1955 1975-80 studied stage-set design at the Mozarteum Academy of  Music and Dramatic Art, Salzburg 1980-86 studied psychology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences / University of Salzburg Teaching posts: Institute of Psychology / University of Salzburg; Technical University, Vienna / Institute of Spatial Simulation; Danube University, Krems / Solar architecture / Light design. Since 1995 teaching post at Joanneum Technical University, Graz / Faculty of Industrial Design 2001 offered Chair of Colour design at Hildesheim University of Applied Sciences (refused) 1989-93 Executive committee of AIC (International Colour Association) Since 1988 Chair/Co-chair of the AIC study group for Environmental Colour Design Co-founder and joint partner of Grappa Design Approach and N&O Colour & Art Since 1985 self-employed as design consultant, psychologist, colour designer, artist Specialities: industrial consultancy (product development, colour communication, trend research); architectural design (colour and material concepts, wayfinding systems, health-care environments); art projects (colour/light/space installations); seminars and lectures on colour, architectural and design psychology.
